Dr Mathias Jung studied law and economics at the University of Göttingen where he also received his doctoral degree. Practicing as a consultant in Göttingen since 1990 and as a lawyer in Berlin since 1996, he founded Jung & Schleicher together with Dr Bettina Schleicher in 2001. Mathias Jung has been working in the fields of finance, M&A/corporate, hotel business and real estate for more than ten years. He has a broad experience in providing interdisciplinary advice on complex economic and legal issues as well as in developing innovative corporate and equity solutions which integrate tax related implications. He represents clients in all kinds of project negotiations and is known in the market for constantly achieving outstanding results for them. Mathias Jung also advises national and international banks, insurance companies and financial investors on structuring of products and financing, especially with respect to governmental supervision and regulation. He is the author of numerous articles on finance and tax law and, together with Bettina Schleicher, is co-author of a practitioner′s handbook on financial markets.
