Dr Dominik Schneider studied law at the University of Cologne. During his traineeship and dissertation Dominik Schneider already worked several years for the corporate and tax law firm Streck Mack Schwedhelm. He gained international experience at the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Melbourne and finished his doctoral thesis on tax law. Dominik Schneider advises national and international clients on corporate and commercial law issues including tax-law related aspects for many years. Especially, he advises and litigates in the field of banking and capital markets including liability for sales prospectus and liability of brokers and advisors. Dominik Schneider is experienced in negotiations and disputes concerning non-performing real estate loans, restructuring, sale of real estate or SPVs as well as enforcement of securities. He has a further emphasis on accompanying funds and its shareholders at foundation, implementation, termination of and disputes within such structures. Dominik Schneider speaks German and English.
