Sebastian Hantelmann, LL.M. studied law at the Humboldt-University of Berlin and at Paris X - Nanterre, France. After the first state examination, he received the Master-of-Laws degree (LL.M.) with a thesis on European merger control law after having completed interdisciplinary post-graduate studies (law, economics and politics) at Lund University, Sweden. Hereafter, he gained experience at the German Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce. During his legal traineeship at the Supreme Court of Berlin, he worked for an international corporate law firm, the European law department of the Berlin Senate and the DG Competition of the European Commission at Bruxelles before he joined Jung & Schleicher as an associate. Sebastian Hantelmann advises national and international clients on all issues of general commercial law. In national as well as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, he has several years of experience in the review, legal due diligence, and negotiation and drafting of contracts. His special focus is on hotel, real estate and corporate law. In the field of hotel law, he assists the attendance and implementation of financing, development and operational structuring and gives general advise on day-to-day hotel operation.
